The Hinterseer nature workshop in Lofer

Together with my wife Juliana Hinterseer, I, Thulfiqar Obaidi, run the Hinterseer Nature Workshop in Lofer in Salzburger Land. We are passionate about high-quality frankincense from Oman and spices from all over the world. Originally from Iraq, I studied pharmacology in Cairo and discovered my fascination for herbal medicine and frankincense.

Eight years ago I came to Austria, where I met Juliana and our shared vocation began. We live and work in our parents’ farmhouse in Lofer in Pinzgau. Juliana’s parents, Elisabeth and Hansi Hinterseer, ran the nature workshop for 25 years and shared our love for decoration, gardening and incense.

As the 2nd generation, we are fully dedicated to Hojari frankincense from Oman and exquisite spices from all over the world. Our incense is handmade according to our own recipe and revitalizes body, mind and soul. We also have a patented incense sieve, matching incense burners and decorative items for indoors and outdoors.
