Sometimes our skin doesn’t need more, just care that suits it well. When sensitive skin needs special attention
Feelings of tightness, dryness, or redness can be a sign that the skin needs a little more attention right now. Especially sensitive skin appreciates a care routine that is as gentle as possible and doesn’t burden unnecessarily.
Our frankincense face cream was therefore specifically tested on 20 people with sensitive skin. Over a period of four weeks it was applied regularly and dermatologically monitored. During the test, no unwanted skin reactions such as redness, swelling, rash, itching, or burning occurred among the participants. The dermatological assessment describes the cream as suitable for sensitive skin when used as intended.
Of course, every skin reacts differently. Especially with delicate skin, we therefore always recommend integrating new products mindfully into your own care routine.
Boswellia sacra – frankincense meets natural skin care
Frankincense has accompanied us in the Naturwerkstatt for a long time. We usually know it as resin for incense – but Boswellia sacra can also be wonderfully combined with mindful skin care.
In our face cream, frankincense appears in various forms: as Boswellia sacra resin water, frankincense resin powder, and frankincense oil. Added to this are jojoba oil, shea butter, raspberry seed oil, argan oil, vitamin E, and hyaluronate, among others. Several of the plant ingredients come from certified organic cultivation.
The result is a light care that integrates well into everyday life – morning, evening, or whenever your skin longs for a little care.
Moisture and elasticity – what the application test showed
It is important to us not to make promises about care products that should apply equally to every skin. That’s why we prefer to look at what was actually observed and measured in the test.
After four weeks of regular application, an average 26% higher skin moisture was measured in the test group. An improvement in the measured value was seen in all 20 test subjects. The measured skin elasticity was on average 13% higher after four weeks; an improvement was found in 18 out of 20 people.
Personal skin feel was also predominantly rated positively. Participants described, among other things, a stronger feeling of moisture as well as a calmed and more elastic skin feel.
These results always refer to the test group studied and are not a promise of how the cream will affect each individual person.
Natural care also for demanding and mature skin
With increasing age, the moisture content and elasticity of the skin change. Well-balanced care can help keep the skin supple and give it a well-cared-for feel.
In the four-week test, various wrinkle parameters were therefore additionally measured. In the test group, changes were seen in wrinkle depth, wrinkle volume, and wrinkle surface. The average measured values after four weeks were each lower than at the beginning of the study.
For us, the promise of “looking younger” is not the focus. Much more important is care that feels pleasant, gives moisture, and supports natural skin care.
